Honorary Angel Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Soldiers' Angels Honorary Angel!

To get started, please complete and submit this form before your event or campaign begins. This application helps us understand your plans and make sure we're on the same page.

  • Approvals: Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Your application will be reviewed within one week of receipt of the completed application form. Approval or denial will be provided by email to the primary contact person.

  • Event Details: Provide accurate and detailed information to ensure your event's success and avoid any potential cancellation. Soldiers' Angels reserves the right to cancel any approved application/event if significant changes are made after approved.

  • Timeline: Your event or campaign must be finished within one year of the application approval date.

PLEASE NOTE: Soldiers' Angels name and logo are the sole property of SA and can only be used with SA's express written permission. All materials featuring the name and/or logo must be approved by SA before printing or distribution.
Financial Information








How Soldiers' Angels CAN work with you:
  • Offer advice and expertise on event planning, communications, marketing or publicity for the event.
  • Provide a letter of support to be used to validate the authenticity of the event and the organizers.
  • Approve the use of our name, as appropriate.
  • Provide limited promotional materials such as Fact Sheets, brochures and other materials. The extent and number will be determined by Soldiers' Angels based on the cost and requirements of the event.
  • Acknowledge direct contributions to Soldiers' Angels.
  • May have staff or volunteers attend the event and/or attend for check presentations.
Please note that in order to fulfill your requirements, three (3) week's notice is required prior to the start of your event.


What Soldiers' Angels CANNOT do for your event:
  • Offer funding for the event or reimbursement for expenses.
  • Share mailing lists of donors, sponsors or volunteers.
  • Assist in getting financial sponsors for the event.
  • Promote your event anywhere other than through our internal communication methods or social media.
  • Guarantee staff or volunteer attendance at your event.

Important Notice:
  • Unauthorized use of Soldiers' Angels logo or name is prohibited.
  • Charitable donation receipts will only be issued in accordance with the Internal Revenue Service guidelines. The final decision to issue official donation receipts rests with Soldiers' Angels.
  • Whenever possible, Soldiers' Angels would appreciate written results or photos of the event, which may be included in SA publications or acknowledgements.
  • When a representative of Soldiers' Angels is invited to speak or attend the event, the organizer will provide a complimentary ticket or admission to the presenter.
  • Soldiers' Angels reserves the right at any time to withdraw the use of its name.

Soldiers' Angels does not support the following types of fundraisers:
  • Events involving promotion of a political party, candidate or appearing to endorse a political activity.
  • Any activity that results in the disrespect of military service members, veterans or their families.
  • A third party independently soliciting funds through door-to-door, telemarketing or through the internet as it may impede Soldiers' Angels own ongoing activities.

DISCLOSURE REQUIRED: If this application includes a cause related marketing opportunity (ex: percentage of sales), certain legal requirements must be met to comply with BBB standards. A separate cause-marketing agreement is necessary to be completed before any sales or promotions.
